Giftedness Evaluations

Evaluations for giftedness may include testing for strengths and weaknesses in one’s neurocognitive profile with the goal of identifying whether someone is intellectually gifted.  This can include intellectual testing (i.e., IQ testing) only or a comprehensive evaluation with intellectual testing included as a single component.

A comprehensive evaluation in such cases will help to determine:

• Whether intellectual giftedness is present
  
  
• How significant any strengths and weaknesses are

• How to best tailor one’s academic culture to best serve one’s intellectual and academic strengths and weaknesses
