Psychoeducational evaluations may include testing for strengths and weaknesses in one’s academic profile.  This can include an evaluation for academic giftedness and/or for the presence of learning disorders (e.g., dyslexia, dyscalculia, etc.).

A comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation in such cases will help to determine:

• Whether giftedness and/or learning disorders are present
  
  
• How significant any strengths and weaknesses are

• How to best tailor one’s academic culture to best serve one’s academic strengths and weaknesses
